Day | iGeomancy

Opening Verdict

Today’s 破 (Jianchu) day presents a profound cosmic paradox: while the 青龙 (Qīng Lóng) Yellow Path deity bestows highly auspicious energy for travel and undertakings, the 破 pillar demands strategic dismantling. Do not initiate contracts, marriages, or property transactions. This is a day for breaking harmful cycles—renovating toxic work habits, terminating unproductive relationships, or demolishing outdated business models. For Singapore professionals, avoid signing BTO agreements, submitting CPF investment proposals, or scheduling high-stakes board meetings. The Earth Dragon energy (戊辰) amplifies stability but requires deliberate release of accumulated burdens. Today’s path is not to build anew, but to purify the foundation for future growth. HDB homeowners should focus on discarding clutter, not moving in. CBD executives must defer major negotiations until 15:00 (申时) or later.

Today’s Day Pillar

The Day Pillar is 戊辰 (Wù Chén), Earth Dragon. The Heavenly Stem 戊 (Wù) denotes Yang Earth—stable, nurturing, and resourceful. The Earthly Branch 辰 (Chén) represents the Dragon, embodying hidden potential and transformative energy. Hidden stems reveal the inner dynamics: 辰 contains 戊 (Earth, main), 乙 (Wood, mid), and 癸 (Water, residual). This creates a potent Earth-Wood-Water triad. The Year Pillar 丙午 (Bǐng Wǔ) and Month Pillar 戊戌 (Wù Xū) intensify Earth energy, causing a volatile 辰戌冲 (Chén Xū Chōng) clash. This clash activates instability, demanding urgent release of stagnation. The Sound Element (纳音五行) is 大林木 (Dà Lín Mù), Great Forest Wood—a metaphor for clearing dense undergrowth to let light penetrate. Today’s Earth Dragon energy stabilizes but requires active dissolution of old structures. For Singapore business leaders, this means auditing outdated financial models (not launching new ventures) and releasing personnel tied to failing initiatives.

As the Jianchu deity, 破 (Pò) signifies destruction through celestial alignment. (Rì yuè xiāng chōng, yuē dà hào)—the sun and moon clash, creating great depletion. This day’s energy is not for construction but for dismantling. The 青龙 (Qīng Lóng) Yellow Path deity (active today) paradoxically supports this destruction, as purification precedes renewal. Historically, 破 days were used for: demolishing dilapidated temples, severing toxic feudal bonds, and ending failed harvests. In modern Singapore, this means:

• ✅ 宜：破屋坏垣 (Auspicious: Breaking down broken houses/walls)—Renovating HDB flats by discarding outdated furniture, ending unproductive Zoom calls, or terminating ineffective vendor contracts.
(Inauspicious: Avoid all auspicious activities)—Do not sign leases, apply for BTO flats, schedule weddings, or collect payments. The Earth Dragon energy absorbs all new beginnings, causing financial leakage (大耗).

The cosmic reason is the 日月相冲 (sun-moon clash): Earth’s stability (戊辰) clashes with Fire’s intensity (丙午 year), creating energy fragmentation. Singapore businesses must avoid launching campaigns today; instead, audit last quarter’s losses. Executives should use this day to cancel non-essential meetings—the very act of ‘breaking’ creates space for clarity.

Twelve Value Deities & Shen Sha Spirits

Today’s Value Deity is 青龙 (Qīng Lóng), the Yellow Path (黄道吉神), symbolizing success in travel and undertakings. (Qīng Lóng huángdào, suǒ xíng jiē chéng)—all actions under its guidance succeed. This deifies the day’s destruction energy: breaking old systems ensures success in renewal. The active Lucky Spirits (吉神) are:

• 天恩 (Tiān Ēn): Heavenly Blessing—Seek help from superiors during 01:00-03:00 (丑时).
(Mǔ Cāng): Mother Granary—Stabilize finances; avoid new investments.
(Bù Jiāng): No Obstruction—Perfect for resolving disputes.
(Yì Hòu): Benefits Later—Focus on long-term strategy.
(Jiě Shén): Release Spirit—End toxic relationships.
(Qīng Lóng): As above.

The Taboo Spirits (凶神) amplify danger:

• 月破 (Yuè Pò): Moon Break—Causes sudden setbacks in projects.
(Dà Hào): Great Depletion—Leaks money and energy.
(Sì Jī): Four Clashes—Creates conflict in partnerships.
(Wǔ Mù): Five Cemeteries—Blocks progress.

For Singapore, this means:

• Avoid negotiating salaries (月破) during meetings—expect sudden counteroffers.
• Do not schedule medical procedures (大耗)—energy depletion may prolong recovery.
• Never discuss business with colleagues who share your birth year (五墓)—clashes will arise.

The 青龙 deity’s presence transforms destruction into strategic renewal. HDB owners should use 05:00-07:00 (卯时) to end leases with uncooperative tenants, leveraging the 禁神 (Jìn Shén) energy for clean severance.
