Day | iGeomancy
Opening Verdict: On the 闭 (Closing Day) of the 戊戌 (Earth Dog) Month, with 天德 (Heavenly Virtue) as the 值日神 (Value Deity), today is a Yellow Path (黄道) day—highly auspicious for completing and storing, but inadvisable for new ventures. The 辛酉 (Metal Rooster) Day is under the influence of 九紫火隐元 (Nine Purple Fire Hidden Origin), indicating a day of internal reflection and practical execution. Singaporeans should focus on finishing projects, sealing contracts, and securing assets. Avoid major travel, weddings, or new business openings.
Today’s Day Pillar
(Metal Rooster) Day: The Day Pillar is 辛酉, a Yin Metal day, aligned with the Rooster in the Chinese zodiac. This day is governed by the 辛 (Xin) Heavenly Stem and the 酉 (You) Earthly Branch. The hidden stems of the 酉 branch are 辛 Metal (main), and the Na Yin (sound element) is 石榴木 (Pomegranate Wood), a rare and powerful wood associated with resilience and transformation.
Elementally, the 辛酉 day interacts with the 戊戌 (Earth Dog) Month in a harmful relationship due to the 酉戌害 (You Xu Harm)—a conflict between the Rooster and the Dog in the zodiac, leading to hidden obstructions and unseen challenges. The 丙午 (Fire Horse) Year Pillar adds further Yang Fire energy, which is not harmonious with the Yin Metal of the 辛酉 day. These interactions suggest a day that is best suited for concluding tasks and securing resources, rather than initiating new ones.
(Closing Day) is a Yellow Path (黄道) day according to the 建除神 (Jianchu Deity) system. It is considered a day of inward energy, where external movement is discouraged, and internal consolidation is encouraged. This day is marked by the closing of cycles, the storage of resources, and the sealing of contracts.
(Earth-moving) are recommended, as these are activities of completion and physical preparation. For Singapore’s HDB BTO homeowners and CBD executives, this is an ideal day for finalizing renovations, signing building contracts, or securing land for development.
忌 (Inauspicious Activities): 出行 (Travel) and 嫁娶 (Weddings) are strictly avoided today. Travel is inadvisable due to the internal energy of the 闭 day, and weddings are inappropriate due to the clash between the Metal and Earth in the Day and Month Pillars. Business leaders should avoid new partnerships, and executives should refrain from public meetings or major announcements.
Twelve Value Deities & Shen Sha Spirits
(Heavenly Virtue) is the Yellow Path (黄道) deity for today. This is one of the most auspicious deities in the Tong Shu system, associated with nobility, officials, and success in governance. It is highly favorable for executives, legal affairs, travel, and new beginnings. However, as today is a 闭 day, these auspicious energies should be directed towards completion rather than new ventures.
吉神 (Lucky Spirits): The 天德合 (Heavenly Virtue Harmony), 月德合 (Monthly Virtue Harmony), 官日 (Official Day), 除神 (Exorcism Deity), 宝光 (Precious Light), and 鸣吠 (Barking) are active today. These spirits enhance governance, resolve conflicts, and bring clarity to business decisions. For CBD professionals and SME leaders, this is an ideal time for negotiations and resolving outstanding issues with partners or suppliers.
凶神 (Taboo Spirits): The 月害 (Monthly Harm), 天吏 (Heavenly Officials), 致死 (Causing Death), 血支 (Blood Branch), and 五离 (Five Separations) are active today. These spirits introduce obstacles, conflict, and loss into important activities. Singaporeans should avoid signing contracts, making major financial commitments, or initiating legal actions today. Relationships are also at risk due to the taboo energies of these spirits.
