Day | iGeomancy
Opening
Today is a pure 开 (Kai) day—Singapore’s most auspicious opening day for new beginnings. As per Tong Shu, this is a 重新开展的好日子 (renewal day), radiating Fire energy that harmonizes with all fresh starts. Critical for Singaporeans: DO NOT schedule funerals, burials, or contract terminations today. Perfect for launching hawker stall concepts, signing HDB lease agreements, or finalizing CBD office relocations. Avoid all litigation—诉讼 (legal disputes) is strictly forbidden. The Fire Goat (丁未) day amplifies creativity and social momentum, making it ideal for wedding ceremonies, product launches, and educational workshops. This is not a day for endings, but for vibrant beginnings.
Today’s Day Pillar
丁未 — Fire Goat (Yin Fire) day, the Day Master (日主) for 2026-09-30. The hidden stems reveal deep Fire-Earth harmony: 己 Earth (main) in the Goat branch nurtures the 丁 Fire (mid), creating stable energy for growth. Year Pillar 丙午 (Fire Horse) combines with today’s 未 to form 午未合火—a powerful Fire union that fuels collaboration. Month Pillar 丁酉 (Fire Rooster) enhances this, but note: the 月柱比肩 means partnerships may involve subtle rivalry (e.g., joint business ventures requiring clear role definitions). Crucially, 空亡 (Void Branches) in 寅 and 卯 weaken morning activities before 07:00. For Singaporeans, this means HDB flat moves (入宅) must avoid 03:00–07:00, and new business contracts (开市) should prioritize 辰时 (07:00–09:00) for maximum stability.
Today’s 开 day is a celestial green light for all fresh beginnings. DO: Host wedding ceremonies (嫁娶) at 17:00–19:00 (酉时)—文昌贵人 peaks then for smooth presentations. Finalize HDB flat moves (入宅) during 07:00–09:00 (辰时) to harness 正印 energy for home harmony. Launch new products (开市) at 19:00–21:00 (戌时) for 正财 flow. AVOID: Funeral preparations (安葬) or burial contracts—火土相生 clashes with death energy. Never settle legal disputes (诉讼) today; the 劫煞 in 申时 (15:00–17:00) will escalate conflicts. For Singaporean businesses, avoid signing tenant agreements during 空亡 hours (寅卯) as promises may not materialize. This day’s Fire energy thrives on expansion, not closure—align all actions with new beginnings.
Ideal for finalizing online contracts (e.g., property deposits) as 正财 energy ensures direct wealth flow. Singapore commuters can safely book MRT upgrades during this window. Avoid romantic dates—桃花 energy is strong but risks impulsive spending.
Proceed cautiously with side income streams (e.g., freelance gigs). Avoid signing agreements—Clash energy may cause payment delays. Best for rest; never schedule HDB maintenance during this hour.
Void Branch (寅时) weakens all activity—skip job interviews or school admissions. Use for quiet reflection only. Avoid cooking breakfast—空亡 energy may cause burnt meals.
Void Branch (卯时) makes travel unreliable—never leave for work before 07:00. Avoid meetings with superiors; 七杀 energy triggers unnecessary stress. Focus on light tasks like email replies only.
Prime time for HDB moves (入宅) and school enrollment. Singaporeans should complete property paperwork here. 正印 energy ensures smooth approvals. Avoid financial negotiations—印星 prioritizes stability over profit.
Good for creative work (e.g., hawker stall menu design) but avoid client presentations. 驿马 energy peaks here—ideal for travel planning (e.g., checking MRT schedules for new commutes). Never sign contracts; 偏印 lacks legal force.
劫财 energy drains resources—avoid spending on luxuries (e.g., shopping at I12). Never discuss salary increases; this hour fuels workplace rivalry. Focus on team collaboration only.
Perfect for group activities (e.g., team-building at Hawker Centre). 比肩 energy strengthens partnerships but watch for hidden competition. Avoid solo decisions—always consult partners.
Avoid negotiations; 伤官 energy causes impulsive errors. Use for creative problem-solving (e.g., fixing HDB flat issues) but never handle cash.
文昌贵人 and 食神 energy peak—ideal for weddings, presentations, or exam prep. Singaporeans should schedule marriage ceremonies here. Avoid financial deals; 食神 focuses on enjoyment, not profit.
Prime window for business deals and contract signings. 正财 energy ensures steady income flow. Singapore entrepreneurs should finalize partnerships here. Avoid social events—energy is transactional.
天乙贵人 active—seek help from influential contacts (e.g., property agents). Avoid late-night spending; 偏财 energy risks windfalls turning into losses. Use for networking only.
Shen Sha Star Spirits
Today’s 天乙贵人 (Heavenly Noble Star) peaks at 17:00–19:00 (酉时) and 21:00–23:00 (亥时), granting access to influential helpers—prime for securing HDB lease agreements or CBD internships. (Academic Star) during 17:00–19:00 boosts exam success and pitch effectiveness; students should revise then. (Travel Horse) activates at 09:00–11:00, ideal for planning relocations or MRT commutes. Crucially, avoid 劫煞 (15:00–17:00) for all financial transactions—guard wallets during this window. 空亡 (寅卯 hours) means promises made before 07:00 may not hold; never sign contracts then.
Feng Shui Directions for Today
Today’s Fire energy makes South (180°) the auspicious direction. For Singaporean HDB flats: Position your main bed or workspace facing South to harness Fire’s creative energy. Wear Red or bright gold (e.g., a red scarf for meetings) to amplify success. Place red crystals (like red jasper) in the South corner of your room to activate prosperity. For business owners, orient your office desk toward South for new client meetings. Avoid West (Metal direction)—it clashes with today’s Fire energy. In HDB corridors, place a small red vase (not flowers) in the South to attract new opportunities.
Activity Guide — Do and Avoid
| ✅ AUSPICIOUS ACTIVITIES | ❌ AVOID TODAY |
|---|---|
| Weddings & Relationships: 17:00–19:00 (酉时) for 文昌贵人—enhances harmony. | Funerals/Burials: Fire energy clashes with death; 安葬 forbidden by Jianchu. |
| Business Launches: 19:00–21:00 (戌时) for 正财 flow—ideal for hawkers opening new stalls. | Legal Disputes: 诉讼 is strictly forbidden; 劫煞 escalates conflicts. |
| HDB Moves: 07:00–09:00 (辰时) for 正印 stability—ensures home harmony. | Ending Contracts: Fire energy thrives on beginnings, not closures. |
Reasoning: Fire Goat (丁未) day’s energy is harmonious and expansive. Weddings succeed due to 文昌贵人 peak; business launches thrive with 正财 flow. Funerals violate 开 day’s essence—death energy conflicts with renewal. Legal work fails because 劫煞 (15:00–17:00) amplifies disputes. Ending contracts contradicts the day’s core purpose.
