Tong Shu 通書 Daily Almanac: 2026-09-13 — 执 (守成之意。 宜：纳采、嫁娶、动土、入殓。 忌：入宅、开市。) Day | iGeomancy

Today, 2026-09-13 (Lunar 2026/8/3), is a 执 (Execution) day governed by the Metal Tiger (庚寅) pillar. This is a forceful, decisive energy for confrontation and resolution—ideal for legal action, contract signing, and direct problem-solving. Avoid weddings, funerals, grand openings, and home entries. The energy demands clarity: do not procrastinate on critical decisions. Singapore professionals should leverage this day for boardroom negotiations; HDB residents must delay moving-in plans. The void branches (午未) weaken activities during noon and afternoon, so schedule all major tasks before 11:00 AM or after 17:00.

Today’s Day Pillar 今日日柱

庚寅 (Metal Tiger) — Yang Metal day. The day stem 庚 (Metal) dominates, with hidden stems in 寅 (Tiger): 甲 Wood (main), 丙 Fire (mid), 戊 Earth (residual). This creates a structured, disciplined energy where Metal governs Wood (as per Ten God relationships: 丁丁 is FAVOURED Direct Officer). Year pillar 丙午 (Fire Horse) and Month 丁酉 (Fire Rooster) amplify Metal’s strength—making this day excellent for authority-driven tasks. Hidden stems show strong Fire (丙) mid-branch, which aligns with the Month’s Fire, creating stable energy for contracts. Crucially, no major clashes exist between branches (no 破, 冲, 克), ensuring harmonious execution of plans. For Singaporeans, this means clear-cut decisions at work or legal matters—no ambiguity.

建除神 Jianchu Guide — 执 (守成之意。 宜：纳采、嫁娶、动土、入殓。 忌：入宅、开市。)

执 (Execution) day embodies ‘守成’ (holding ground) — a time for decisive action, not new beginnings. The energy is sharp, focused, and suited for confrontation. Auspicious: Legal disputes (e.g., contract breaches), finalizing deals, hunting down issues (e.g., resolving HDB repair delays), and burial rites (入殓). Inauspicious: Weddings (纳采) and funerals (嫁娶) due to the day’s rigid energy clashing with emotional transitions; grand openings (开市) and home entries (入宅) because this day demands resolution, not renewal. For Singapore, avoid signing property leases or hosting open houses today. Instead, use it to settle debts (e.g., chasing overdue payments from tenants) or finalize office relocation contracts. The phrase ‘丁动刃逢遭缧绁’ warns against legal overreach—act with precision, not aggression. Do not schedule team-building events; focus on individual accountability.

今日风水方位 Feng Shui Directions for Today

Today’s Metal day favors West (270°) and Northwest (315°). For HDB units: Position work desks facing West to enhance Metal energy (ideal for legal/contract work). In bedrooms, place a white crystal (e.g., clear quartz) on the northwest corner to attract stability. Wear white or silver (e.g., a silver watch) for meetings. Avoid red (Fire clashes with Metal). For Singapore commuters: Board MRT trains heading West (e.g., Jurong East-bound on East-West Line). Hawker stall owners should arrange counters facing West to boost sales. Never place water features in the West—Metal governs water, causing imbalance.

今日宜忌总览 Activity Guide — Do and Avoid

✓ AUSPICIOUS TODAY:
• Legal action (e.g., filing a lawsuit for delayed payments)
• Decisive meetings (e.g., finalizing a property lease at CBD office)
• Direct confrontation (e.g., resolving HDB repair disputes with management)

*Reason: Metal Tiger (庚寅) day governs authority and discipline. The energy demands clarity—no evasion. For Singapore, this is optimal for resolving disputes with neighbors or tenants.

✗ AVOID TODAY:
• Weddings (纳采) and funerals (嫁娶)—energy is rigid, clashing with emotional transitions
• Grand openings (开市)—Metal demands resolution, not renewal
• Home entries (入宅)—void branches weaken stability
*Reason: 执 day focuses on completion, not beginnings. Weddings require emotional openness; this day’s energy is too forceful. In HDB terms, moving into a new flat today risks disputes with neighbors.
