BaZi Daily Forecast: October 21, 2026 — 戊辰 (Earth Dragon) Day | iGeomancy
Today is the 破 (Destruction) day with 日月相冲 (Sun-Moon Clash), making it a day of major depletion (大耗). The Nine Star Ki 二黑土天璇 (Earth Star) amplifies stability and nurturing energy, but the Jianchu God warns against initiating anything new. Earth Dragon (戊辰) day clashes with the Month Dog (戌) in 辰戌冲, creating volatile energy. This means: avoid starting projects, but use the day to dismantle toxic habits, end draining relationships, or clear clutter in your HDB flat. The 二黑土 (Earth) energy supports financial discipline but requires caution with wealth. For Singapore residents, prioritize deep cleaning of your workspace (not moving house), schedule meetings before 9 AM, and avoid financial commitments during void hours (戌亥). The Earth Dragon’s patient accumulation energy favors long-term investments over impulsive decisions in the CBD.
Today’s Four Pillars 四柱一览
| Element | Chinese | Animal | Energy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Year Pillar | 丙午 | Fire Horse | Yang Fire |
| Month Pillar | 戊戌 | Earth Dog | Yang Earth |
| Day Pillar | 戊辰 | Earth Dragon | Yang Earth |
Hidden stems: Year 午 (丁 Fire, 己 Earth), Month 戌 (戊 Earth, 辛 Metal, 丁 Fire), Day 辰 (戊 Earth, 乙 Wood, 癸 Water).
流年 (Liu Nian) — Year Energy and Today
The 2026 Year Pillar 丙午 (Yang Fire) interacts with today’s 戊辰 (Earth) as 偏印 (Indirect Resource), creating a neutral but supportive dynamic. The Fire (丙) in the year stem nourishes Earth (戊), symbolizing indirect mentorship or learning opportunities. However, the Fire’s intensity may clash with the Earth’s stability, causing subtle pressure on patience. For Singapore professionals, this means valuable insights may emerge from senior colleagues (e.g., during CBD lunch meetings), but avoid pushing for immediate action. The Year Fire also activates the Earth Dragon’s nurturing quality, making it ideal for team-building in HDB community centers or refining long-term strategies. Crucially, 丙午 Year’s Fire energy intensifies the Day Pillar’s Earth, so guard against overcommitting to projects that drain energy. The 二黑土 (Earth) Nine Star reinforces patience—focus on deepening existing partnerships, not starting new ventures.
流月 (Liu Yue) — Month Overlay
The Month Pillar 戊戌 (Earth Dog) adds another layer of Yang Earth energy, creating 比肩 (Companion Star) with today’s Day Stem 戊. This doubles Earth’s stability but amplifies rivalry and financial competition. The Month Dog (戌) clashes with the Day Dragon (辰) in 辰戌冲, triggering sudden changes—like unexpected MRT delays or workplace restructuring. For Singaporeans, this means avoiding office relocation plans (e.g., moving from a Tiong Bahru condo to a new CBD tower) or signing leases today. However, the Earth energy is excellent for consolidating resources: close minor contracts, audit HDB flat maintenance budgets, or strengthen team dynamics. The hidden stems in 戌 (戊 Earth, 辛 Metal, 丁 Fire) reveal a tension between Metal (clarity) and Fire (chaos), so prioritize written agreements over verbal ones. The Month’s Earth also supports the 二黑土 Nine Star, making it ideal for organizing physical spaces (e.g., clearing clutter in a Serangoon Garden HDB kitchen).
流日 (Liu Ri) — Today’s Day Pillar 日柱深析
戊辰 (Earth Dragon) day embodies stability, trust, and patient accumulation. The Earth element (戊) governs the spleen/stomach system, so prioritize digestive health—avoid hawker centre fried foods due to Earth’s tendency to cause bloating. Wealth implications are nuanced: Earth Dragon stabilizes finances but requires guarding against over-sharing (劫财 energy). Hidden stems in 辰 (戊 Earth, 乙 Wood, 癸 Water) reveal a dual nature: Wood (乙) represents growth opportunities (e.g., side hustles), while Water (癸) warns of hidden debts. Career-wise, avoid confrontations with managers (丁 Fire) as Earth may disrupt authority (伤官). Relationships thrive with partners who share Earth energy (戊 or 己), but avoid impulsive dates with Water signs (壬). The 辰戌冲 (Dragon-Dog clash) creates urgency—use this to declutter your workspace or resolve long-standing office disputes. For Singaporeans, this is the day to organize your home office (not move), settle minor invoices, or review HDB flat renovation plans. The 二黑土 Nine Star emphasizes nurturing: plant herbs in your Balcony or donate unused items to a Kallang hawker centre charity drive.
