BaZi Daily Forecast: 14 October 2026 — 辛酉 (Metal Rooster) Day | iGeomancy
Today, 14 October 2026, is a 辛酉 (Metal Rooster) day, marked by the powerful influence of the 九紫火隐元 (Nine Purple Fire Hidden Original) energy, which is the dominant force in the 九运 (2024–2043) period. The Jianchu god (建除) for the day is 闭, a day of closure, storage, and inward energy, which is ideal for completing tasks, sealing agreements, and preserving resources. However, it is not a day for new ventures, travel, or weddings. The branch interaction between 酉 and 戌 (酉戌害) introduces subtle friction and hidden obstacles, especially in relationships and long-term planning. With the Year Pillar 丙午 (Fire Horse) and the Month Pillar 戊戌 (Earth Dog), the energy is balanced yet cautious, calling for strategic decision-making and a focus on stability.
Today’s Four Pillars 四柱一览
| Year Pillar 流年 | Month Pillar 流月 | Day Pillar 流日 |
|---|---|---|
| 丙午 (Fire Horse — Yang Fire) | 戊戌 (Earth Dog — Yang Earth) | 辛酉 (Metal Rooster — Yin Metal) |
The hidden stems for the Year Pillar 午 contain 丁 Fire (main) and 己 Earth (mid). The Month Pillar 戌 contains 戊 Earth (main), 辛 Metal (mid), and 丁 Fire (residual). The Day Pillar 酉 contains 辛 Metal (main). These combinations reflect a dynamic balance between fire, earth, and metal, with metal being the dominant element in the day pillar.
流年 (Liu Nian) — Year Energy and Today
The Year Pillar 丙午 (Fire Horse) brings a strong influence of Yang Fire, which interacts with the day stem 辛 (Yin Metal) as 正官 (Direct Officer) — a highly favoured relationship. This indicates that today is a good day for career advancement, meeting authorities, and demonstrating competence. The fire element is in a position of strength, but it is not overpowering the metal, allowing for a balanced and supportive energy. This combination is particularly beneficial for those in leadership roles or those seeking to establish authority in their field. However, the fire element can also introduce a sense of urgency, so it is important to act decisively but with careful planning.
流月 (Liu Yue) — Month Overlay
The Month Pillar 戊戌 (Earth Dog) brings a Yang Earth energy that interacts with the day stem 辛 as 正印 (Direct Resource) — another highly favoured relationship. This signifies that today is a good day for receiving support, resources, and mentorship. The earth element provides a strong foundation and nurturing energy, which is ideal for learning, creative work, and personal development. The interaction between the earth and metal is harmonious, supporting long-term growth and stability. However, the branch interaction between 酉 and 戌 (酉戌害) introduces subtle friction, which may manifest as hidden obstacles in communication or collaboration. It is important to be mindful of potential misinterpretations or misunderstandings in today’s interactions.
流日 (Liu Ri) — Today’s Day Pillar 日柱深析
The Day Pillar 辛酉 (Metal Rooster) represents a day of precision, authority, and refinement. The metal element is in its prime, indicating that today is a day of strength, discipline, and clarity. Metal is associated with the lungs and large intestine in traditional Chinese medicine, so it is a good day for maintaining respiratory health and supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes. In terms of career, the metal element suggests that today is an excellent day for leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning. In relationships, the metal element signifies a need for clarity and direct communication, which can help resolve any lingering issues. In terms of wealth, the metal element indicates that today is a good day for financial planning, investments, and long-term gains. However, the interaction between 酉 and 戌 introduces some friction, which may manifest as minor obstacles in financial planning or decision-making.
