流年 (Liu Nian) — Year Energy and Today
The Year Pillar 丙午 (Cang Fire Horse) brings a powerful Yang Fire energy. As the Day Pillar is 戊午 (Earth Horse), the interaction between the Year Stem 丙 and Day Stem 戊 is 偏印 (Indirect Resource), a neutral relationship. This suggests that today’s energy is stable and conducive to learning, knowledge, and intellectual growth. The Earth energy of the Day Pillar is well-supported by the Fire energy of the Year Pillar, which nurtures and strengthens the Earth. This dynamic is especially beneficial for those with Earth or Fire in their Day Master, as it enhances their ability to absorb new information and apply it effectively. The neutral nature of the relationship between 丙 and 戊 also means that today is not an ideal time for aggressive expansion or major confrontations. Instead, it’s a day for reflection, strategic planning, and careful execution of long-term goals.
流月 (Liu Yue) — Month Overlay
The Month Pillar is 戊戌 (Wu Earth Dog), with the Day Stem 戊. The interaction between the Month Stem 戊 and Day Stem 戊 is 比肩 (Companion Star), a neutral relationship. This suggests a day of collaboration and shared effort, but also potential competition. The Month Pillar contains the hidden stems of 戊 Earth, 辛 Metal, and 丁 Fire, which contribute to the overall stability and strength of the Earth element in the energy field. The Earth Dog energy is especially supportive of Earth-based activities, such as construction, real estate, and business planning. The presence of 辛 Metal enhances the structural integrity of projects, while 丁 Fire adds a spark of creativity and innovation. However, since this is a 比肩 relationship, individuals may find themselves in situations where they need to work closely with others, which can be both a blessing and a challenge. It is advisable to strengthen partnerships and avoid unnecessary rivalry today.
流日 (Liu Ri) — Today’s Day Pillar 日柱深析
Today’s Day Pillar is 戊午 (Wu Earth Horse), with the hidden stems of 丁 Fire and 己 Earth. The Earth element is known for its stability, reliability, and long-term growth. With the Horse in the branch, there is a strong sense of movement, ambition, and forward momentum. This is a day that supports steady progress, especially in career and financial matters. The Earth energy is nurturing, making it an ideal time to build strong foundations and establish lasting relationships. In terms of health, the Earth element governs the digestive system and the skin, so today is a good time to focus on maintaining a balanced diet and taking care of one’s physical well-being. Wealth-wise, the Earth in the Day Pillar is beneficial for those with Wood in their Day Master, as Earth supports Wood in the cycle of the Five Elements. The Fire element in the hidden stem of 午 also adds a level of energy and passion, which can be harnessed for entrepreneurial ventures or creative projects.
