BaZi Daily Forecast: October 2, 2026 — 己酉 (Earth Rooster) Day | iGeomancy

Today, October 2, 2026 (Lunar 2026/8/22), presents a powerful Earth Rooster day (己酉) under the auspicious Jianchu God (建), signifying strong energy for initiating official matters and seeking authority. The Nine Star Ki (三碧木天玑) infuses Wood energy, enhancing communication and strategic thinking. Key interactions include the critical SELF-PUNISHMENT (酉酉) between Day and Month branches, demanding heightened self-awareness to avoid self-sabotage. Void branches (寅卯) weaken activities during morning hours, while the Heavenly Noble Star (天乙贵人) activates in 子 and 申 hours, offering networking opportunities with influential figures. For Singapore residents, this day favors CBD career advancements, financial negotiations, and community initiatives—avoid scheduling funerals or major construction. The Earth element stabilizes relationships but requires mindful wealth management, making it ideal for HDB flat renovations and strategic investments.

Today’s Four Pillars 四柱一览

Hidden stems (from classical lookup): Year 午 contains 丁 (Fire, main) and 己 (Earth, mid); Month 酉 contains 辛 (Metal, main); Day 酉 contains 辛 (Metal, main). This creates a Fire-boosted Earth cycle with Metal dominance, intensifying resource accumulation but requiring discipline to prevent self-sabotage.

流年 (Liu Nian) — Year Energy and Today

The Year Pillar 丙午 (Yang Fire) forms a 正印 (Direct Resource) relationship with today’s Day Stem 己 (Earth). This is highly favourable as Fire nourishes Earth, symbolizing supportive mentorship and institutional backing. In Singaporean terms, this manifests as senior management endorsement for projects or unexpected financial assistance from established institutions. The Fire Horse energy amplifies confidence but demands caution against overconfidence in negotiations. Since Fire (Year) boosts Earth (Day), it enhances stability for HDB flat owners seeking rental agreements or CBD professionals pursuing leadership roles. However, the Earth dominance requires balancing with Water elements to avoid rigidity—Singapore residents should avoid impulsive property purchases today. This dynamic aligns with 九运 (2024–2043)’s Water phase, where Earth’s nurturing quality supports sustainable growth in property and community ventures.

流月 (Liu Yue) — Month Overlay

The Month Pillar 丁酉 (Yin Fire) adds a 偏印 (Indirect Resource) relationship with today’s 己 (Earth), creating a nuanced dynamic. While Fire nourishes Earth, the Yin Fire’s indirect nature means support comes through unconventional channels—like networking at hawker centres or leveraging digital platforms for business pitches. The Month branch 酉 (Metal) intensifies the Day branch 酉 (Metal), triggering SELF-PUNISHMENT (酉酉), which warns against over-reliance on rigid systems. For Singapore, this means avoiding strict adherence to corporate protocols; instead, adapt strategies during CBD meetings. The Fire Rooster energy also elevates communication skills, making it ideal for resolving disputes with colleagues at offices like Marina One. However, the Metal dominance requires guarding against financial overcommitment—avoid signing lengthy contracts during the 丑时 (01:00–03:00) hours. This month’s energy supports research-driven ventures (e.g., property tech startups) but demands flexibility in execution.

流日 (Liu Ri) — Today’s Day Pillar 日柱深析

Today’s Day Pillar 己酉 (Earth Rooster) embodies stability, trust, and patient accumulation—ideal for Singapore’s HDB community projects and long-term property investments. As Earth Day Master, your energy prioritizes nurturing relationships (e.g., mediating conflicts in condominium committees) and accumulating resources through steady efforts. The hidden stem in Day branch 酉 (辛 Metal) reveals Metal’s sharpness, meaning you may excel in detail-oriented tasks like financial audits for CBD firms but risk being overly critical. Career-wise, this day favors promotions requiring discretion (e.g., HR roles at Singtel), though the SELF-PUNISHMENT (酉酉) warns against self-criticism that undermines confidence. Health-wise, Earth element governs the spleen/stomach—avoid heavy hawker centre meals (e.g., chili crab) to prevent bloating. Wealth implications show strong potential for rental income (Earth’s nurturing quality) but require guarding against sharing financial details (戊 Wu Earth competition). For Singaporeans, this day is perfect for renewing HDB lease agreements or planning community gardens, as Earth’s stability harmonizes with urban environments.
