BaZi Daily Forecast: 7 September 2026 — 甲申 (Wood Monkey) Day | iGeomancy
Today, 7 September 2026, marks a 甲申 (Wood Monkey) Day, with the Jianchu god being 闭 — a day of closure and internal focus, ideal for completing tasks and sealing agreements. The Nine Star Ki is 一白水天枢 (Water Tian Zhu), bringing a reflective and stabilizing energy. The interaction between the year branch 午 (Fire Horse) and the day branch 申 (Metal Monkey) is harmonious, with no major clashes. This is a day for consolidation, especially with the 丁酉 (Fire Rooster) month pillar adding a layer of transformation and innovation. The Wood element is in a strong position, offering opportunities for growth and creative expression. However, caution is advised during the void hours of 午 and 未, where energy is weakened and decisions may not hold.
Today’s Four Pillars 四柱一览
| Year Pillar | Month Pillar | Day Pillar |
|---|---|---|
| 丙午 (Fire Horse) — Yang Fire | 丁酉 (Fire Rooster) — Yin Fire | 甲申 (Wood Monkey) — Yang Wood |
The hidden stems for the year branch 午 are 丁 Fire (main), and 己 Earth (mid). The month branch 酉 contains 辛 Metal (main). The day branch 申 contains 庚 Metal (main), 壬 Water (mid), and 戊 Earth (residual). These hidden stems influence the underlying dynamics of today’s energy and provide additional insight into the interactions between the pillars.
流年 (Liu Nian) — Year Energy and Today
The year pillar is 丙午 (Fire Horse), with the year stem 丙 (Yang Fire) interacting with the day stem 甲 (Yang Wood) as a 食神 (Eating God) — a favoured relationship. This indicates that the Wood element is nourishing the Fire, promoting creativity, learning, and mentorship. This is an auspicious time for intellectual growth, collaboration, and the sharing of knowledge. Wood is in a strong position, and the Fire’s presence enhances the Wood’s ability to express and manifest ideas. This dynamic is especially beneficial for students, writers, and professionals in creative or educational fields. The Wood’s growth is supported by the Fire’s energy, and this alignment encourages innovation and breakthroughs in new projects.
流月 (Liu Yue) — Month Overlay
The month pillar is 丁酉 (Fire Rooster), with the month stem 丁 (Yin Fire) interacting with the day stem 甲 (Yang Wood) as a 伤官 (Hurting Officer) — a challenged relationship. This indicates that the Wood may feel pressure from the Fire, leading to potential conflicts or friction in personal or professional relationships. The Fire’s influence can be transformative and disruptive, which may require careful handling to avoid unnecessary friction. This is a time for self-reflection and adjustment, especially in communication and decision-making. The Wood is in a position to grow through challenges, but it must navigate the Fire’s intensity with patience and adaptability. This month calls for strategic thinking and a focus on long-term goals over short-term gains.
流日 (Liu Ri) — Today’s Day Pillar 日柱深析
Today’s Day Pillar is 甲申 (Wood Monkey), with the day stem 甲 (Yang Wood) in a dynamic relationship with the day branch 申 (Metal Monkey). The Wood element represents growth, expansion, and creativity, while the Metal Monkey adds a layer of transformation and adaptability. This combination is ideal for new beginnings, innovation, and the pursuit of knowledge. The hidden stems in the day branch — 庚 Metal (main), 壬 Water (mid), and 戊 Earth (residual) — further reinforce the idea of transformation and balance. In terms of career, this is an excellent day for brainstorming, planning, and executing new projects. Relationships may benefit from open communication and emotional honesty. Health-wise, the Wood element supports the liver and gallbladder, suggesting a focus on emotional well-being and stress management. Financially, this day is favorable for long-term investments and strategic planning, especially when aligned with the Wood’s natural flow.
