BaZi Daily Forecast: August 24, 2026 — 庚午 (Metal Horse) Day | iGeomancy

Today, August 24, 2026 (Lunar 7/12), is a potent 开 (Kai) day – a fresh beginning marked by 六白金开阳 (Six White Metal Kaiyang). The Day Master is 庚 Metal, riding a fiery 午 Horse, creating a dynamic tension between Metal’s precision and Fire’s intensity. Be mindful of self-punishment energy in 午 branches – avoid impulsive decisions that sabotage your progress. The Year Pillar (丙午) and Month Pillar (丙申) both bring 七杀 (Seven Killings) pressure, demanding discipline but offering career breakthroughs for those who channel it wisely. This is a day for launching new ventures, signing contracts, or starting projects with clarity – but never during void hours (戌亥). Singapore residents: leverage this energy for CBD negotiations, HDB flat renovations, or networking at hawker centres near MRT stations.

Today’s Four Pillars 四柱一览

Hidden Stems (地支藏干):
– Year 午: 丁 (Fire, main), 己 (Earth, mid)
– Month 申: 庚 (Metal, main), 壬 (Water, mid), 戊 (Earth, residual)
– Day 午: 丁 (Fire, main), 己 (Earth, mid)

流年 (Liu Nian) — Year Energy and Today

The 2026 Year Pillar (丙午) presents a dual challenge: the Year Stem 丙 Fire directly generates 七杀 (Seven Killings) against today’s Day Master 庚 Metal. This creates high-pressure, high-reward energy – ideal for career advancement but demanding strict discipline. The Year Branch 午 (Fire Horse) mirrors today’s Day Branch, amplifying the Metal-Fire tension. As seen in the hidden stems, 午 carries 丁 Fire (main) and 己 Earth (mid), meaning your authority (Metal) must balance Fire’s impulsivity with Earth’s stability. For Singapore professionals, this means leveraging Seven Killings energy to win competitive bids in CBD offices, but avoid aggressive negotiations that trigger conflicts. The self-punishment warning in 午 branches warns against overworking – take lunch breaks at hawker centres (e.g., Tiong Bahru) to reset. Remember: 丙午 Year energy rewards those who transform pressure into precision, not panic.

流月 (Liu Yue) — Month Overlay

The August 2026 Month Pillar (丙申) intensifies the Year’s pressure with 七杀 (Seven Killings) from 丙 Fire. Crucially, the Month Branch 申 (Monkey) contains its own main stem 庚 Metal, creating a metal-on-metal tension that sharpens focus but risks overcomplication. The hidden stems reveal 申 holds 壬 Water (mid) – a crucial resource for cooling the Fire pressure. For Singapore residents, this means:
– Finance: 丙申’s Water mid-stem helps stabilize volatile markets; use for stock portfolio reviews (avoid trading during void hours).
– Work: 申’s Monkey energy favors innovation – perfect for tech startups in Jurong or creative pitches at Marina Bay Sands.
– Health: Fire overstimulation may cause insomnia; prioritize 7-8 hours sleep (avoid 23:00-01:00 for screen time).
This Month’s energy demands we harness 申’s Water to temper 丙’s Fire – a key to success today. Never let Seven Killings pressure dictate decisions; instead, channel it into structured action plans (e.g., drafting proposals before 11am).

流日 (Liu Ri) — Today’s Day Pillar 日柱深析

Today’s Day Pillar (庚午) features 庚 Metal (Day Master) on a 午 Fire Horse. Metal’s essence is precision, authority, and refinement – but 午’s Fire creates heat that can melt or forge Metal. The hidden stems reveal 午 contains 丁 Fire (main) and 己 Earth (mid), meaning:
– Career: Your Metal discipline (庚) must balance Fire’s urgency (丁) – ideal for deadline-driven work (e.g., completing client reports by 12pm). Avoid confrontations; instead, use Earth (己) to mediate conflicts.
– Relationships: 午 is a ‘Fire Horse’ – romantic energy peaks 05:00-07:00 (卯时 Peach Blossom). Use for date planning but avoid heated arguments.
– Health: Metal governs lungs and skin; Fire overstimulation causes dryness. Drink water at 11:00am (壬午 hour) to cool the system.
– Wealth: The Day’s Metal (庚) is stable for Fire (丁) – excellent for collecting payments. Avoid risky investments (e.g., crypto) during 劫财 hours (巳时).
The dual 午 branches (Year + Day) amplify self-punishment energy – never skip meals or overwork. Remember: Metal is strongest when cooled by Earth (e.g., take a 10-min walk in a park during 午时).
