BaZi Daily Forecast: August 5, 2026 — 辛亥 (Metal Pig) Day | iGeomancy

Today’s energy is defined by the 定 (Stability) Jianchu God, making it ideal for consolidating existing projects rather than initiating new ventures. The Nine Star Ki 七赤金摇光 (Seven Red Gold摇光) amplifies Metal’s precision and refinement, while the Day Pillar 辛亥 (Yin Metal Pig) carries self-punishment energy requiring mindful self-discipline. With the Month Pillar 乙未 (Yin Wood Goat) offering neutral Indirect Wealth and the Year Pillar 丙午 (Yang Fire Horse) providing Direct Officer support, this is a day of measured progress. Avoid travel, litigation, or major negotiations—focus on securing foundations, completing tasks, and leveraging established networks. The void branches 寅 and 卯 demand extra caution in early morning decisions, while auspicious hours like 午时 (11:00–13:00) and 申时 (15:00–17:00) offer optimal windows for wealth and authority-aligned actions.

Today’s Four Pillars 四柱一览

Hidden stems: Year 午 carries 丁 Fire (main), 己 Earth (mid); Month 未 carries 己 Earth (main), 丁 Fire (mid), 乙 Wood (residual); Day 亥 carries 壬 Water (main), 甲 Wood (residual). These hidden elements create subtle tensions—especially the 甲 Wood residual in 亥 clashing with Day Master 辛 Metal.

流年 (Liu Nian) — Year Energy and Today

2026’s Year Pillar 丙午 (Yang Fire Horse) provides a Direct Officer (正官) relationship to today’s Day Master 辛 Metal. This is highly favourable: Fire (Year) serves Metal (Day), creating natural authority and structure. As the Year Fire Horse aligns with the Day Metal Pig’s discipline, this energy supports career advancement, formal recognition, and leadership opportunities. However, the Horse branch (午) in Year Pillar carries fire’s volatility, so avoid impulsive decisions even when opportunities arise. The 丙 Fire also subtly fuels the Month 乙 Wood’s indirect wealth potential, making financial planning more effective. Crucially, 丙’s Yang Fire matches the Day’s Yin Metal (辛), creating a balanced discipline—like a skilled craftsman shaping metal with controlled fire. This is not a time for aggressive expansion but for refining existing systems: perfect for finalizing contracts, presenting reports, or securing mentorship. The year’s energy demands precision, not haste.

流月 (Liu Yue) — Month Overlay

The Month Pillar 乙未 (Yin Wood Goat) adds Indirect Wealth (偏财) energy to today’s calculations. While Wood (乙) is neutral to Metal (辛), it’s not a direct match—creating subtle tension. The Goat branch (未) holds 乙 Wood (residual), which can generate unexpected income streams (e.g., freelance work, side projects), but the Earth element in 未 (己) may slow down cash flow. The key interaction is Month 乙 Wood’s relationship to Year 丙 Fire: 乙 Wood feeds 丙 Fire, creating a ‘wealth chain’ that benefits from the Year’s Direct Officer energy. This means today’s financial opportunities (e.g., receiving payments, closing deals) are enhanced, but avoid speculative risks. The 未 Earth also anchors the energy, making it ideal for property-related matters—like finalizing HDB flat repairs, condo renovations, or securing a new lease. However, the Goat’s passive nature means you must actively pursue opportunities; waiting passively will yield little. The Month’s Earth also amplifies the Day’s 亥 Water (hidden stem), supporting emotional stability but requiring caution against overthinking.

流日 (Liu Ri) — Today’s Day Pillar 日柱深析

Today’s Day Pillar 辛亥 (Yin Metal Pig) defines the core energy. 辛 Metal represents precision, refinement, and harvest—like a jeweler polishing a gem. The Pig branch (亥) carries hidden 壬 Water (main) and 甲 Wood (residual), creating a dual dynamic: Water nurtures Metal (supportive), but 甲 Wood residual clashes with 辛 Metal (self-sabotage risk). This explains the Day’s ‘self-punishment’ warning—guard against over-criticism or delaying tasks due to perfectionism. Career-wise, this is excellent for roles requiring detail (e.g., finance, law, design), but avoid confrontations with authority figures (the 甲 Wood clash). Relationships benefit from calm, diplomatic communication—sudden arguments will trigger the Pig’s emotional sensitivity. Health-wise, Metal governs the lungs and skin; prioritize hydration and avoid dry, dusty environments (e.g., MRT commutes during peak hours). Wealth implications are nuanced: 辛 Metal is stable, but the 亥 Water may cause funds to ‘flow away’ if not secured. The Day’s energy is harvest-focused—not growth. Complete pending tasks (e.g., finalizing HDB repair contracts, submitting reports to CBD offices), but postpone new investments. The 亥 branch’s Water energy also enhances intuition, making it ideal for reviewing data (e.g., financial spreadsheets) or creative work requiring clarity.
