BaZi Daily Forecast: August 4, 2026 — 庚戌 (Metal Dog) Day | iGeomancy

Today, August 4, 2026 (Lunar 2026/6/22), presents a balanced yet precise energy under the 平 (Ping) Jianchu God, signaling a day for steady maintenance rather than bold initiatives. The Nine Star Ki 八白土洞明 (Eight White Earth) infuses the day with grounding stability, aligning perfectly with the Metal Dog (庚戌) Day Pillar’s refinement and precision. However, the critical branch interaction between 戌 (Dog) and 未 (Goat) creates a 持势之刑 (Bullying Punishment), subtly disrupting collaborative efforts—especially relevant for HDB flat neighbors or CBD team dynamics. Avoid travel as advised by the Jianchu, but embrace routine repairs: refresh your condo’s walls, organize your MRT commute workspace, or tidy your hawker centre stall. The day favors practicality over ambition, making it ideal for optimizing your physical environment in Singapore’s 9th Period (2024-2043) of Earth energy.

Today’s Four Pillars 四柱一览

Hidden stems (地支藏干): Year 戌 (午) contains 丁 Fire (main), 己 Earth (mid); Month 未 (未) contains 己 Earth (main), 丁 Fire (mid), 乙 Wood (residual); Day 戌 (戌) contains 戊 Earth (main), 辛 Metal (mid), 丁 Fire (residual).

流年 (Liu Nian) — Year Energy and Today

The 2026 Year Pillar 丙午 (Fire Horse) creates a critical Seven Killings relationship (七杀) with today’s Day Master 庚 (Metal). This challenging interaction intensifies pressure on your career and authority—akin to navigating a busy CBD office during peak MRT hours. The Fire Horse (丙午) fuels your Metal (庚) with relentless energy, but demands discipline. For Singapore professionals, this means high-stakes meetings require meticulous preparation (avoiding impulsive decisions) and careful management of team dynamics. The hidden 丁 Fire in 戌 (Dog) branch amplifies this tension, making midday presentations especially potent but risky. Channel this energy into refining your HDB office workflow or completing overdue reports—transforming pressure into precision. Crucially, avoid confrontations with superiors; instead, seek mentorship (leveraging 丁 Fire’s indirect support) to navigate this year’s challenges. Remember, the Year’s Fire element will eventually be cooled by the Day’s Metal, turning stress into strategic advantage.

流月 (Liu Yue) — Month Overlay

The Month Pillar 乙未 (Wood Goat) provides a vital Direct Wealth (正财) relationship with today’s Day Master, creating a harmonious flow for financial matters. The Wood Goat (乙未) nurtures Metal (庚) like a well-organized hawker stall attracting customers—making contracts, payments, and investments favorable. However, the 未 (Goat) branch’s hidden 丁 Fire and 乙 Wood interact with today’s 戌 (Dog) to create the 持势之刑 (Bullying Punishment) branch conflict. In Singapore terms, this means collaborative projects (e.g., condo renovation teams or office upgrades) may face subtle friction—like neighbors disagreeing over HDB lift renovations. The 乙 Wood (Direct Wealth) also amplifies the 八白土洞明 (Eight White Earth) energy, making property-related decisions auspicious. For CBD professionals, this is an ideal time to finalize rental agreements or negotiate vendor contracts. Avoid using the 未 (Goat) time (13:00–15:00) for major decisions due to the hidden 伤官 (Hurting Officer) energy. Instead, leverage the Wood’s nurturing quality to build client trust through consistent, reliable communication—perfect for marketing pitches at 17:00–19:00 (乙酉 hour).

流日 (Liu Ri) — Today’s Day Pillar 日柱深析

Today’s Day Pillar 庚戌 (Metal Dog) embodies precision, authority, and harvest—ideal for Singapore’s high-pressure work culture. The Metal element (庚) governs the lungs and skin, making today a day to prioritize health: drink warm water (not iced drinks) at hawker centres to soothe respiratory systems. The 戌 (Dog) branch, containing 戊 Earth (main), symbolizes stability and harvest—perfect for wrapping up quarterly reports or finalizing project deliverables. Hidden 丁 Fire in 戌 creates a subtle tension between Metal (discipline) and Fire (passion), explaining why career discussions feel charged but productive. For wealth, Metal’s stable energy means reliable income streams (e.g., salary payments, rental income) but warns against speculative risks like crypto trading. Relationships benefit from the Dog’s loyalty: a heartfelt coffee catch-up with a colleague (not a formal meeting) aligns with the day’s energy. Crucially, the 戌-未 conflict (Bullying Punishment) means avoid clashing with partners—opt for compromise in condo management committees or team disagreements. In 9th Period (Earth) context, this Metal day amplifies Earth’s nurturing quality, making property maintenance (e.g., fixing HDB kitchen tiles) deeply auspicious. The day’s essence: refine what’s already working rather than starting new ventures.
